  1. .a hartfelt congratulations for the guys from Aardman and False Bay Good Hope College..this is a truly wonderful idea in my opinion, since some light is being shined on our fair country, regarding stop motion animation..maybe, we should hold an event where the best animators from our school team up against/with the team from kayalitsha..making some sort of two-part film, about.....mmmmm, who knows?..then, this film could be shown all around the world?..either way, it is an extremely oppertunistic chance for Open Window to expand their horizons, in a marketing sense, and for the same to happen with the Kayalitsha Academy...or if that not viable, cant we organize or arrange for a masterclass from one of the Aardman crew?..would truly be an honour..

  3. Hey, yes! Lovely ideas. I'm in cape town at the moment and I'm definitely going to try meet with someone there. It's a wonderful initiative and the fact that they're basing the course around traditional Disney training is really refreshing. The only thing is that their course is in hand-drawn 2D animation, not stop motion, but of course this doesn't rule out a collaboration of some sort. Would be amazing to get Aardman in for a masterclass! No harm in asking, right?
